The aim of this unit is to provide learners with an understanding of theconcept of assurance. Learners will consider the responsibilities ofdifferent stakeholders when completing assurance engagements and willgain an understanding of internal controls and their importance inassurance engagements as well as gain a practical understanding of howto gather the required evidence for all assurance activities.
