This unit aims to give learners the knowledge and applied skills for personal and professional development within a health and social care setting. Learners will learn about and understand how self-managed learning enhance lifelong development, Learners will be able to demonstrate the skills needed to take responsibility for own personal and professional development, implement and review a personal and professional development plan and demonstrate the acquired interpersonal and transferable skills gained.
