Overview

The Level 4 Diploma in Computing and Practical Probability Theory (60-credit) offers learners a short but relatively extensive introduction to key Artificial Intelligence maths topics set against a backdrop of essential Level 4 Computing knowledge and skills. It is aimed at learners looking to undertake a broader grounding in key computing subjects with a preparatory interest in Artificial Intelligence-related maths. Successful completion of this qualification will support learners progressing to a level 4 extended diploma in computing and artificial intelligence.

Entry Requirements

• Equivalent to GCE AS/A Levels.
• Any other international qualification at level 3 or mature learners with relevant work experience
• Over the age of 18 years

Progressions

Learners who achieve this qualification could progress into Level 4 courses or take admission into or bachelor’s degree courses at the University.
