Overview

Change is a distinctive characteristic of the Healthcare Sector and it is the strategic managers who should be the first to respond to, and support positive transformation. The ATHE level 7 Qualifications in Healthcare Management provide strategic management skills for those planning to, or working in the healthcare sector both internationally and in the UK, including additional units that are specifically targeted at those working in the public sector. Skills that meet the changing environment of healthcare are the vision and research skills as well as the ability to manage continuous organisational improvement included in the ATHE Level 7 Diploma in Healthcare Management.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must hold/meet one or more of the criteria on the list below:

• A Level 6 Diploma or Bachelors degree
• An equivalent professional qualification from a recognised institution.
• Mature students with a minimum of two years relevant work experience may be considered.
• This course is designed for learners aged 19 and above.
• The provider will determine English Language ability if English is not your native language.
• IELTS 5.5 or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential.

Progressions

On successful completion of a Level 7 qualification in Healthcare Management there are number of progression opportunities
• Learner may progress to MSc in Leadership in Healthcare Management Top-up, as most universities will give 60 to 90 credits exemption.
• An MBA programme and claim exemptions for some of the units completed.

Certification

The Diploma is issued by the ATHE – Awarding Organisation. Come To UK Academy is an approved Learning Centre for ATHE qualifications.
