Overview

The OTHM Level 5 Extended Diploma in Cyber Security offered by Come To UK Academy is a comprehensive qualification that combines both Level 4 and Level 5 study to prepare learners for advanced roles in digital security and related fields. This extended diploma equips learners with a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and builds upon it with in-depth technical skills, threat intelligence, and risk management strategies needed in today’s evolving digital landscape.
Covering 12 mandatory units (six at each level), this programme spans critical areas including network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, artificial intelligence, malware analysis, and cloud security. Entry Requirements

Learners must meet one of the following criteria:
• A Level 3 Diploma or equivalent qualification
• GCE Advanced Level in 2 subjects or equivalent
• Mature learners (21+) with relevant work experience
• Non-native English speakers require an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent

Progressions

Upon successful completion, learners can advance to:
• The OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Information Technology or related fields
• The final year of a UK Bachelor’s degree (subject to university entry criteria)
• Employment in roles such as Cybersecurity Analyst, Penetration Tester, or Digital Forensics Consultant
